Biography
Joe Saade is a Lebanese cinematographer based in Beirut. His credits include the feature films Joyland (2022), directed by Saim Sadiq, Costa Brava, Lebanon (2021) and Broken Keys (2020), both directed by Mounia Akl, and the short film Submarine (2016), for which he received a Kodak award for excellence in cinematography.
Saade has worked on the Netflix series House of Guinness (2025), directing photography on three episodes directed by Mounia Akl, and on the BBC series The Responder (2024), also directed by Akl. He has shot fiction, documentaries, music videos and commercials, and has worked internationally in locations including the UK, Pakistan, Kenya and the United States.
