Biography
Joel Bailey, also credited as Joel Stephan Bailey, is an American actor, producer, writer and director. Born on 6 May 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he attended Florida State University and is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. His stage credits include productions such as Sweet Bird of Youth and A Streetcar Named Desire.
Bailey appeared in supporting roles in films including Beverly Hills Cop (1984) as Det. McCabe and Turner & Hooch (1989) as Ferraday. He had recurring television parts in series such as Flamingo Road and Santa Barbara.
He is married to actress Gina Gallego. Since the 1990s he has worked primarily as a producer and writer on television projects.
