Biography
Joel Devlin is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC). He began his career in documentaries, working worldwide for the BBC, Discovery and National Geographic, before moving into feature films and television drama.
His credits include the series His Dark Materials (2019), Bodies (2023) and This City Is Ours (2025). He also shot The ABC Murders (2018), Born to Kill (2017) and the feature Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist (2014).
Devlin is a Royal Television Society award winner and has received Emmy and British Society of Cinematographers nominations. He is noted as an advocate for sustainable filmmaking practices.
