Biography
Joel Kim Booster is an American actor, comedian, producer and writer. Born Kim Joonmin on 29 February 1988 in Jeju Island, South Korea, he was adopted as an infant and raised in Illinois. He studied theatre at Millikin University.
Booster is known for writing, producing and starring as Noah in the 2022 Hulu romantic comedy Fire Island, a modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice featuring a predominantly Asian American cast. He plays Nicholas in the Apple TV+ series Loot (2022–present) and has voiced characters in animated series including Big Mouth and BoJack Horseman. In 2025 he voiced multiple roles in the animated film KPop Demon Hunters.
