Biography
Joel Metzger is an American television writer. In the mid-1990s he moved from Indiana to Los Angeles and began working in the industry, initially as an assistant to producers on series including Deadly Games and Robin's Hoods.
His writing credits include an episode of The Outer Limits (1996), Sliders (1999), The Pretender (1999), Earth: Final Conflict (2000), five episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess (2000–2001, as staff writer on season 6), Cleopatra 2525 (2000–2001) and Andromeda (2003). He later wrote for animated series including Pet Alien (2006–2007) and I Got a Rocket! (2007). In 2006 his pilot script Hothouse Bruiser was selected in the Slamdance Teleplay Contest.
