Biography
John Armstrong (1924–1984) was an Australian actor. He was born on 24 January 1924 in Bondi, Sydney, New South Wales, and died on 27 June 1984 in Sydney.
He appeared as Atkins in the 1971 film Wake in Fright. Other credits include the television series Wandjina! (1966) and The Evil Touch (1973), as well as films such as Sunstruck (1972) and Dawn! (1979). He had a long association with the New Theatre in Sydney, where he acted and directed after serving in the Royal Australian Air Force during the Second World War.
