Biography
John Branca is an American entertainment attorney and producer. He is a partner and head of the music department at the Los Angeles law firm Ziffren Brittenham, and has represented numerous rock and roll acts. He serves as co-executor of the Estate of Michael Jackson.
Branca has acted as executive producer on several Michael Jackson projects, including This Is It (2009), When You're Strange (2009), Bad 25 (2012), Michael Jackson's Journey from Motown to Off the Wall (2016) and Thriller 40 (2023). He is a producer on the 2026 biopic Michael.
He graduated from Occidental College and UCLA Law School. Branca has also produced the Broadway musical MJ.
