Biography
John Buckwalter was an American actor whose career spanned stage, film and television from the 1940s onwards. His screen credits include the role of Dr. Sindell in Woody Allen's Zelig (1983) and appearances in television series such as The Defenders (1962–1964), The Edge of Night (1983) and Love of Life (1960).
He made his Broadway debut in 1943 as Thanos in the play Land of Fame. Buckwalter was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1917 and died on 19 June 2006.
