Biography
John Copeland is an American producer and director. Born on 13 October 1950 in San Diego, California, he has worked extensively in television production and direction.
He produced all 111 episodes of the science fiction series Babylon 5 (1993–1998) and directed three of them. He also produced the related television films Babylon 5: The Gathering (1993, as co-producer), Babylon 5: In the Beginning (1998), Babylon 5: Thirdspace (1998), Babylon 5: The River of Souls (1998) and Babylon 5: A Call to Arms (1999). Copeland directed one episode of the spin-off series Crusade (1999) and produced Hypernauts (1996). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
