Biography
John Dragonetti is an American composer, songwriter and music producer based in Los Angeles. He was born in Jackson, Michigan, and attended Berklee College of Music after schooling in Cyprus. He is a founding member, with Blake Hazard, of the indie pop duo The Submarines and has also released music under the name Jack Drag.
Dragonetti has composed scores for numerous documentaries and television series. His credits include the series Weeds (2005), Married (2015) and Small Town Security (2012), as well as films such as Surfwise (2007) and All About Nina (2018). He has worked extensively with director Brian Knappenberger on projects including We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists (2012), The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz (2014), The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez (2020) and the Netflix series Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror (2021) and Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War (2024).
