Biography
John 'Dusty' King (born Miller McLeod Everson) was an American actor and singer. He began his career in radio in the early 1930s before joining bandleader Ben Bernie's orchestra as a vocalist and moving to Hollywood.
King appeared in supporting roles at Universal Pictures, including Bill Evans in Three Smart Girls (1936) and the lead in the serial Ace Drummond (1936). He later starred as 'Dusty' in the Monogram Pictures Range Busters series of Westerns from 1940 to 1943, appearing in the first twenty films. His screen career ended in the mid-1940s.
