Biography
John Florea (1916–2000) was an American television director and photographer. Born in Alliance, Ohio, he began his career as a staff photographer for the San Francisco Examiner and Life magazine, later serving as a war correspondent in the Pacific and European theatres during the Second World War.
From the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s he directed more than 130 television episodes. His credits include Sea Hunt, Mission: Impossible (1966), Ironside, CHiPs, The Dukes of Hazzard, V and MacGyver, as well as several television films such as Island of the Lost (1967).
