Biography
John Walter Glaser III is an American costume designer. He has worked in film and television since 1982, beginning as an assistant costume designer on productions including My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) and Meet the Parents (2000). He later served as costume designer on series such as Person of Interest (2011–2012), Gotham (2015–2019) and Still Star-Crossed (2017).
Glaser has been the lead costume designer on Bridgerton since its first season in 2020. He previously worked as assistant and co-costume designer alongside Ellen Mirojnick on How to Get Away with Murder and the early seasons of Bridgerton. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Period Costumes for his work on the series and received two further nominations.
