Biography
John Hackney is a British film editor. He served as editor on the comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones.
Born on 27 February 1952 in Wandsworth, London, Hackney began his career in the late 1960s with roles in the editorial and sound departments. His subsequent work has included editing television documentaries and factual series such as episodes of Dispatches (2006) and Time Team (1999), as well as nature programmes including Swamp Tigers (2001) and Return of the Unicorn (1999).
