Biography
John Irwin is a British actor and writer. He has contributed additional material and scripts to numerous comedy programmes, including Room 101 (2023–2025), Life of Riley (2011), The Lenny Henry Show (2004) and Thank God You're Here (2008).
As an actor he appeared in ensemble roles on Brass Eye (1997), Unnatural Acts (1998), Does China Exist? (1997) and several Paul Merton series in the early 1990s. Earlier writing credits include All Rise for Julian Clary (1996) and Hello Mum (1987, as Irwin/Martin).
