Biography

John J. McLaughlin is an American screenwriter and producer. His screenwriting credits include the story and screenplay for Man of the House (2005), the screenplay for Black Swan (2010, shared with Andres Heinz and Mark Heyman), the screenplay for Hitchcock (2012), and the screenplay for Parker (2013). He also wrote the teleplay for the miniseries Coma (2012) and created the series Point Pleasant (2005–2006).

McLaughlin received a BAFTA nomination for his work on Black Swan. Other credits include writing for Carnivàle (2005) and producing Wild Card (2015).
