Biography
John Knight was a New Zealand-born director and producer who worked primarily in British television. Born in Auckland in 1919, he directed episodes of series including The Avengers (1961), for which he is credited with two episodes, Out of This World (1962) and Armchair Theatre (1956–1961).
He also produced episodes of ITV Television Playhouse and Electrode 93 (1957). Knight was married to actress Brigid Lenihan. He died in 1967.
