Biography
John Leekley is an American television writer, director and producer. He began his career as writer and associate producer on the 1982 CBS miniseries The Blue and the Gray, for which he also wrote the novelisation.
Leekley wrote episodes of Miami Vice (1984) and created the series Kindred: The Embraced (1996) and Wolf Lake (2001–2002). He wrote for and served as executive producer on the HBO animated series Spawn (1997–1999), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. His other credits include the television films She Fought Alone (1995), Buried Secrets (1996) and Night Sins (1997), and he wrote and directed the feature film The Prince of Central Park (2000). He is married to Rebekah Bradford Leekley.
