Biography
John Lennon (1940–1980) was an English musician and actor. He appeared as himself or in character in several films featuring the Beatles, including A Hard Day's Night (1964), Help! (1965), Magical Mystery Tour (1967) and Yellow Submarine (1968). He was also credited as an actor in How I Won the War (1967) and made a guest appearance in an episode of Hawaii Five-O (1969).
Lennon contributed to the writing and music of several Beatles films and later appeared in archive footage in documentaries such as Let It Be (1970) and The Beatles: Get Back (2021). Born in Liverpool, he died in New York City.
