Biography
John Louie is an American actor. He was born on 16 August 1970 in Los Angeles, California.
He is known for his roles as the Chinese Boy in Gremlins (1984) and as Shingo in Oh, God! Book II (1980). His other film and television credits include They Call Me Bruce? (1982), Riptide (1984) and Summer Camp Nightmare (1986). He also provided voice work as the Chinese Magician and Newsie in an episode of the animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai (2023).
Louie attended Stanford University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Quantitative Economics in 1992, and Harvard Business School, where he earned an M.B.A. in 1996. He later worked in business, including as Managing Director and CEO of Mattel Australia/New Zealand.
