Biography
John Mason is a producer, writer, editor and sound mixer. He began his career in the late 1960s as a sound mixer and editor, collaborating on documentaries including American Revolution 2 (1969), The Murder of Fred Hampton (1971) and The Gift: Four Seasons Mosaic of Marc Chagall (1974).
He co-wrote the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'Unnatural Selection' (1989) with Mike Gray and served as producer on the first thirteen episodes of the series' second season. Mason also wrote for and produced the series Starman (1986–1987). His later credits include editing the series Atmospheres (2000).
