Biography
John Megna was an American actor. Born on 9 November 1952 in Queens, New York, he died on 5 September 1995 in Los Angeles, California. He began acting as a child, making his Broadway debut at the age of six in the musical Greenwillow. At seven he appeared in the stage production of All the Way Home, which led to his casting as Dill Harris in the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird.
Megna graduated from Cornell University with a degree in performing arts. As an adult he directed plays, founded the nonprofit theatre group L.A. Arts in Los Angeles, and later taught English in Los Angeles public schools. He was a half-brother of the actress Connie Stevens.
