Biography
John Ralston is a Canadian actor. Born on 9 October 1964 in Miramichi, New Brunswick, he grew up in Fredericton and St. Andrews and holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Literature and Anthropology from the University of New Brunswick.
He began his career in theatre in Toronto before moving into television and film. Ralston is known for his role as George Venturi in the series Life with Derek (2005–2009) and as Mr. Avenir in Strange Days at Blake Holsey High (2002–2006). He also led the HBO Canada series Living in Your Car (2010–2012).
His film credits include Ready or Not (2019), On the Basis of Sex (2018) and Infinity Pool (2023), in which he plays Dr. Modan.
