Biography
John Rickard is an American film producer. Born on 2 November 1977 in Santa Barbara, California, he graduated from the University of Arizona in 2001 with a degree in business management. He began his career as a production assistant on Wonder Boys (2000) and later worked as an assistant to producers including Scott Rudin, Brett Ratner and Toby Emmerich at New Line Cinema.
Rickard has produced films including Horrible Bosses (2011) and its 2014 sequel, How to Be Single (2016), Rampage (2018) and Blue Beetle (2023). He founded Wrigley Pictures and is president of production at The Safran Company. His television credits include executive producer on Frequency (2016) and producer on Peacemaker (2022).
