Biography
John Scott is an American television director and producer. He began his career in the camera department, working as an operator on series including Nip/Tuck before transitioning to directing.
Scott made his directorial debut on Nip/Tuck, where he directed six episodes of the final season. His subsequent credits include episodes of Glee, Suits, American Horror Story, The Magicians, Star Trek: Discovery and Netflix's You, on which he also served as executive producer for season four. An episode of The Magicians that he directed was named one of Rolling Stone's top ten television episodes of 2018.
