Biography
John Scott is an American television director and producer. He began his career in the camera department, working as an operator on numerous series and films before transitioning to directing.
Scott made his directorial debut on Nip/Tuck in 2009, directing six episodes of the series including the 2010 finale. He has since directed episodes of Glee, The Office, Suits, American Horror Story, Star Trek: Discovery, The Magicians and Netflix's You, among others. He served as executive producer on season four of You while continuing to direct.
An episode of The Magicians directed by Scott was named one of Rolling Stone's ten best television episodes of 2018.
