Biography
John Spiker is an American musician, producer and composer. He is best known as the bassist for the comedy rock band Tenacious D, a role he has held since 2005, and for his work as a session musician and engineer with artists including Filter, Steve Earle and John Carpenter.
Spiker composed the theme music for the 2014 film Let's Kill Ward's Wife. His other film credits include music department work on The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), 2012 (2009) and The Stepfather (2009). He was born on 10 July 1981 in Columbus, Ohio.
