Biography
John Tracy is an American television director. His career in television began in 1969 as an associate director on the game show What's My Line?. He went on to direct episodes of series including The Electric Company, Laverne & Shirley, Remington Steele, Who's the Boss?, Full House, Newhart, Family Matters and Boy Meets World.
Tracy is particularly noted for directing 134 episodes of the sitcom Growing Pains (1985–1991). His later credits include episodes of Still Standing, Yes, Dear, That's So Raven and one episode of NYPD Blue (2001). He remained active as a director until 2006.
