Biography
John Webber is a British actor, playwright and director. He trained at Bangor University, where he received a first-class honours degree in drama, and at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His stage work includes appearances at the Royal National Theatre and in regional theatres across the UK.
On television he has played Dr. Stevens in Doctor Foster (2015), roles in EastEnders, Coronation Street, A Touch of Frost (1996–1997), Casualty (2016) and The Bill (2000–2008). His plays include Spiderfly, produced at Theatre503 in London in 2019 and nominated for an OFFIE award, and REAP, which was long-listed for the Bruntwood and Papatango prizes.
