Biography
Jon Hudson Odom is an American actor and producer. He trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and has worked extensively in theatre, appearing with companies including Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre and others. He is a recipient of a Helen Hayes Award and has received multiple nominations for Helen Hayes and Jeff Awards.
On television, Odom has appeared as Sammy in Lovecraft Country (2020), Laz in Chicago P.D. (2019), Ramon in South Side (2022), and Michael in Somebody Somewhere (2022). Film credits include A Savage Nature (2020) and The Year Between (2022). He has also guest-starred in 9-1-1: Nashville (2025) and produced the short film Half (2025).
