Biography
Jonathan Ajayi is an English stage, television and film actor from London. He trained at ArtsEd and graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) with a First Class Honours degree in 2018.
He made his West End debut in a lead role in The Brothers Size at the Young Vic while still at drama school. Ajayi was named a 2021 Screen International Star of Tomorrow and was commended at the Ian Charleson Awards for his performance as Laertes in Hamlet at the Young Vic in 2022. His screen credits include Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), Noughts + Crosses (2020–2022), Vigil (2021) as Wes Harper, Chief of Station (2024), The Man in My Basement (2025) and Alien: Earth (2025) as Smee.
