Biography
Jonathan Alpert is a psychotherapist, author and media commentator based in Manhattan and Washington, D.C. He holds a master's degree in psychology from the Ferkauf School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and maintains a private practice. He is licensed as a mental health counsellor or professional counsellor in New York, the District of Columbia and several other states.
Alpert appeared as Self - Therapist in the 2010 documentary Inside Job. He has also featured in other documentaries, including Plunder: The Crime of Our Time (2009) and The Men Who Stole the World (2018). He is the author of books including Be Fearless: Change Your Life in 28 Days and writes columns on mental health and lifestyle topics. He has appeared as a commentator on programmes such as Today and Good Morning America.
