Biography
Jonathan Bernstein is an American screenwriter and producer. He was born on 16 October 1971 in Union City, New Jersey.
His credits include the screenplays for Max Keeble's Big Move (2001), Just My Luck (2006), Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006), The Spy Next Door (2010) and Unsane (2018, co-written with James Greer). He also wrote for the forthcoming films Twisted (2026) and The Cure (2026).
Bernstein has been married to actress Susan Misner since 1999. In the 2013–14 season he directed the play The Shape She Makes, which he co-wrote with Misner, at the American Repertory Theatre.
