Biography
Jonathan Entwistle is a British director, writer and producer. He created and directed the first season of the Channel 4 and Netflix series The End of the F*ing World (2017), for which he also served as executive producer across both seasons.
A graduate of Chelsea School of Art and the London Film School, Entwistle began his career directing short films including Cotton Stones (2009) and Human Beings (2012). He has since directed all episodes of the Netflix series I Am Not Okay with This (2020), episodes of Hello Tomorrow! (2023) and the feature film Karate Kid: Legends (2025). He is originally from the Rochdale area of Greater Manchester and is based in Los Angeles.
