Biography
Jonathan Estrin is a television producer, writer and director. He contributed as writer, director and supervising producer to the CBS series Cagney & Lacey (1986–1988).
His other credits include writing and producing the television films Between Friends (1983), Sisters (1990) and Jasper, Texas (2003), and writing episodes of Family Law (2000) and Port Charles (2000). As an actor, he appeared in The Day After (1983) and episodes of Knots Landing (1979).
Estrin has theatre credits as an actor and director. In the mid-1970s he taught drama and film appreciation at the University of Puget Sound, and later served as dean of Drexel University's Media Arts & Design College in Philadelphia.
