Biography
Jonathan Lee Chung-shan (Chinese: 李宗盛), also known as Lee Tsung-Sheng, is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter and record producer. Born on 19 July 1958 in Taipei, he began his career in the late 1970s and became a prominent figure in Mandopop, releasing albums and producing for other artists through labels including Rock Records.
He is known for his work on film soundtracks, including producing and writing the theme song 'Bygone Love' (當愛已成往事) for Farewell My Concubine (1993), performed with Sandy Lam. His other film contributions include scores or songs for Sisters of the World Unite (1991), Police Story 3: Super Cop (1992) and Dream Flight (2014). Lee has received multiple Golden Melody Awards for production, composition and lyrics.
