Biography
Jonathan T. Taplin is an American film producer. He began his career in the music industry, working as a tour manager for Bob Dylan and The Band after graduating from Princeton University in 1969.
In 1973 he produced Martin Scorsese's Mean Streets. He went on to produce or executive produce films including The Last Waltz (1978), Under Fire (1983), Until the End of the World (1991) and To Die For (1995), as well as PBS documentary series such as The Prize and Cadillac Desert.
Taplin later founded the video-on-demand company Intertainer and served as Director Emeritus of the Annenberg Innovation Lab at the University of Southern California.
