Biography
Jorge Jimenez is a Mexican actor, writer and producer. He trained at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and the Academia Artística Emilia Carranza, later receiving a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and completing graduate studies in dramatic writing at NYU Tisch.
His film credits include Ernesto in Hasta Morir (1994), roles in Blow (2001), And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself (2003), The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005), Alita: Battle Angel (2019), Machete Kills (2013) and No Man's Land (2021). He played Tío Chema in Blue Beetle (2023). On television he appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and co-wrote, produced and starred as Abel Solares in the series José José: El Príncipe de la Canción (2018).
