Biography
Jorge Vergara (1955–2019) was a Mexican film producer and businessman from Guadalajara. He founded the multi-level marketing company Grupo Omnilife and co-founded the production company Producciones Anhelo with director Alfonso Cuarón.
Vergara produced Y Tu Mamá También (2001), Crónicas (2004) and The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004). He was executive producer on Chivas: The Movie (2018) and owned the football club C.D. Guadalajara.
