Biography
Joseph Chou is a producer of animated films and television series. Born in South Korea, he grew up in a family involved in entertainment and initially aspired to direct before moving into production.
He joined Warner Bros. Home Entertainment during the development of The Animatrix (2003) and later headed a division specialising in Japanese anime projects. After leaving Warner, he founded Sola Digital Arts and has produced numerous titles, often collaborating with directors such as Shinji Aramaki.
His credits include Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007), Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012), The God of High School (2020), Tower of God (2020), Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 (2020–2022), Knights of the Zodiac (2023) and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024).
