Biography
Josh Blacker is a South African actor, producer and writer. He made his feature film debut as Crowe in the 2013 science fiction film Elysium.
Blacker was born in Johannesburg. He obtained a law degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and practised law for four years before turning to acting. His first television role was a guest appearance on Killer Instinct in 2006. He has appeared in series including Supernatural (2006) as Caleb, Stargate Universe (2009–2010) as Marine Sgt. Spencer, Fringe, Arrow and Reacher (2022–2024) as Hortense Fields.
Blacker co-wrote and produced the 2014 film Focus, in which he also acted.
