Biography
Josh Bratchley is a British cave diver and meteorologist who appeared as himself in the 2021 documentary The Rescue. He was a member of the British team of divers involved in the 2018 rescue of twelve schoolboys and their football coach from the flooded Tham Luang cave in Thailand.
Bratchley, from Cornwall, studied meteorology and oceanography at Plymouth University. He received an MBE in the 2019 New Year Honours for services to cave diving overseas. He has also contributed to the 2022 film Thirteen Lives and appeared on Good Morning Britain.
