Biography
Josh Whitehouse is an English actor, musician and artist. Born on 27 February 1990 in Chester, he attended Bishop Heber High School and Queen's Park High School. He made his film debut in the lead role of Matt in Northern Soul (2014).
On television, Whitehouse is known for playing Hugh Armitage in the BBC series Poldark (2017–2018). His film roles include Sir Cole in The Knight Before Christmas (2019) and Randy in Valley Girl (2020). In 2023 he portrayed Eddie Roundtree in the Amazon Prime series Daisy Jones & the Six.
He was cast in an unspecified leading role in the unproduced Game of Thrones prequel series. Whitehouse has released music and performs as a guitarist and singer-songwriter.
