Biography
Joshua Abrams is an American composer and multi-instrumentalist. He has written scores for several documentaries, including Steve James’s The Interrupters (2011), for which he also performed as a musician.
Abrams is known for his work on Life Itself (2014) and Abacus: Small Enough to Jail (2017). He has composed music for other films and series such as The Trials of Muhammad Ali (2013), Almost There (2014) and the series America to Me (2018). A bassist based in Chicago, he leads the group Natural Information Society and has released several albums.
