Biography
Joshua Okamoto is a Japanese-born Mexican actor. He was born on 17 July 1995 in Saitama, Japan, to a Japanese father and Mexican mother, the actress Elizabeth Brambila. He holds Mexican nationality and studied acting at the CasAzul Artes Escénicas Argos school in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico.
Okamoto began his screen career with a role in the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico (2018). Subsequent credits include El Club (2019), Control Z (2022) as Gibrán, Sexo, pudor y lágrimas 2 (2022) as Fichas, and Muerte al verano (2021) as Román. He made his Hollywood debut as Diego in Saw X (2023).
