Biography
Joyce Ames is an actress whose best-known role is Ermengarde Vandergelder in the 1969 musical film Hello, Dolly!. She also contributed uncredited vocals to the soundtrack.
Her other screen credits include the part of Haddie in the 1971 film The Todd Killings and guest appearances in television series such as Dan August (1970), Gunsmoke (1970) and The New People (1969).
