Biography
Joyce Haber (28 December 1930 – 29 July 1993) was an American journalist and occasional actor. She succeeded Hedda Hopper as a gossip columnist for the Los Angeles Times in 1968 and held the post until 1976.
Her screen credits include the role of Zelda in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), a Hollywood party guest in The Christian Licorice Store (1971), and appearances as herself in episodes of That Girl (1970) and Here's Lucy (1970). She later wrote the novel The Users (1976), which was adapted as a television film in 1978.
Haber was married to television producer Douglas S. Cramer from 1966 to 1972; they had two children.
