Biography
Jørgen Stangebye Larsen is a Norwegian production designer. He graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2010 and made his feature debut as production designer on Joachim Trier’s Oslo, August 31st (2011).
He has worked repeatedly with Trier and with director Hans Petter Moland on films including Cold Pursuit (2019) and Absolution (2024). Other credits include In Order of Disappearance (2014), Blind (2014), The Quake (2018), Out Stealing Horses (2019), The Burning Sea (2021) and Sentimental Value (2025). He won an Amanda Award for Hope (2019) and received the Nordic Film Talent Prize for The Quake. He is pursuing a PhD in production design and virtual production at the Norwegian Film School.
