Biography
JT Mollner is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. Born Jeffrey Tyler Mollner in Las Vegas, Nevada, he began his career making award-winning short films, music videos and commercials before directing his debut feature Outlaws and Angels (2016), a revisionist Western that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
He wrote and directed the thriller Strange Darling (2023), which premiered at Fantastic Fest and received positive reviews. Mollner wrote the screenplay for the Stephen King adaptation The Long Walk (2025), directed by Francis Lawrence. He is a proponent of shooting on film and was the first recipient of the Kodak Auteur Award in 2017.
