Biography
Judah Katz is a Canadian actor born on 23 June 1960 in Montreal, Quebec. He trained at Vanier College and the Dome Professional Theatre School, and has also studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts and with voice coach Robert Easton.
Katz began his career in the early 1980s and has appeared in numerous films and television series. He received an ACTRA Award in 1983 for best new actor in Canadian television and a Gemini Award for best supporting actor for his role as Alan Eagleson in the 2006 miniseries Canada Russia '72. His film credits include the Salesman in Crash (1996), Harry in The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996), a reporter in Cinderella Man (2005), Abbe Lowell in Casino Jack (2010), and roles in Owning Mahowny (2003) and Blood Pressure (2012). Television work includes appearances in Goosebumps (1995), Queer as Folk (2000–2002) and Blue Mountain State (2010).
